About
The Adventurepreneur is me, Matthew Holland, i am a technology entrepreneur and and marketing consultant with experience in doing business in a number of ’strange and weird’ places around the world.
I am one of the few Westerners to have a house in Yemen, in Sana’a, the country’s capital. Yemen is without doubt the friendliest country in the world. It is also a country over-ran with problems. Up until i went to Yemen, Cambodia was top of my ‘friendliest places on Earth’ list. Its amazing how some of the poorest people in the world can be the world’s most friendly and generous.
If not chewing Qat, surfing, buying jewellery, eating the best seafood, hiking in mountains, visiting the real jurassic park of Socotra, enjoying the entertainment in Aden’s sailors club or other boring stuff in Yemen, I can usually be found in London or Ibiza.
This blog is hopefully a very useful resource of information, tips, ideas and useful guides to all sorts of countries around the world to help those of you who share a spirit of adventure, a thirst for new challenges, new markets and creating new business opportunities.
